The main difference between this ring and a typical split ring is its oval shape.
This unique shape disperses the force of the wire opening from side to side, preventing wire breakage.
02Affinity with twin hooks
At the same time that we began testing twin hooks, we also began developing oval wires.
In other words, it can be called a split ring made exclusively for twin hooks.
By using them together, we can maximize the performance of the twin hooks.
03Split ring "height"
It has the same width as a normal round split ring, but is about 20% taller.
As a result, the lure's swimming posture is stabilized by pulling the hook position away from the lure.
It also keeps the hook tip away from the body, which reduces miss bites and increases the probability of hook-up.
04Strength test of round ring and oval wire
The round split rings in the video were chosen to be the strongest known on the market.
